Groundwork
It's only August, but already set designs are completed (just), cast busy learning lines and progress is being made on music, costume and puppets.
The cast met for their first rehearsal on the 8th of July and read through the script as well as playing lots of games. Meanwhile in another part of the college the first cut of the cinderella soundtrack was being made, as the producer and the music eam at Hills Road battled through most of the songs in the show.
12th of August:
A bunch of people involved in the pantomime met up for a paint fight, meant to be a day to paint the floor ready to lay in December. We started off clean...but after a piece of cake - Thanks Matt's mum - and a bit of the Grease soundtrack, it turned into an out and out war.
Floor looks good though!

September has bought the chance to get rehearsals underway, time to finish the music and a brand new fashion item in the Cinderella t-shirts. Currently looking very cool and at a very good price too.

Rehearsals
Rehearsal are now underway, the chorus have learnt nearly all the dances and the songs and are looking amazing with the help of our MD and choreographers. The director has made huge progress and nearly reached the interval, and the ugly sisters have ball gowns ready to go. Our next big thing is the annual open evening for prospective students. Come along on the 6th of November and see some of the show up and running.
