Aims
The great thing about theatre, is that it doesn't just stop at acting, which is a good thing for those who want to be creative but can't express it in front of a full house. Not only will the show be brilliant for the audience - i also want to make it a fun learning experince for all involved.
As producer I get to do all the little things that are normally taken off our hands by teachers, or group leaders; all the joys of pen pushing.
I am assisted by the very able Ms Kate Lakin whio will make sure the actors know what they're doing by December, leaving me to order ice creams for the interval.
My aims are to have all lines and songs learned backwards by the fully-costumed actors, lights and sound working and the theatre dressed as a forest by December the 18th. Oh, and to get Cinderella to the ball, obviously.

How Cinderella was born
I spent the 3 weeks over christmas and New Year seeing 1 hour of sunlight a day, helping backstage at the Harlow Playhouse during Panto season. It seemed obvious to me that Hills Road could do with pantomime. Having cleared with the head of the department, I found myself a wandering director and we set about trying to get cinderella to the ball.
Three months later, we found some bouncy, lively performing arts students and gave them a script.

Now i'm just crossing my fingers!
